Welcome to the APCS website. Scroll through our links and you will find information about our mission, history and board of directors, our conferences, our journal, how to join our membership and more.

This year, our annual conference, titled, Disorientation, Displacement, Resilience: Psychoanalysis in a Time of Polycrisis, was held October 15-18th, 2026 at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. We will send out the call for papers for our 2027 conference in the spring.

We are looking forward to meeting in person again, and will continue to make provisions for online attendance. The hybrid delivery will be a new way to get together that can allow us to care for people and planet, where health or distance-related environmental concerns may make it less safe or appropriate to attend in person.

Wishing everyone peace and safety
